The vouchers can be used as payment for ANY ticket for travel to and from ANY airport served by United Airlines. There are no blackout dates. They work just like cash, except that they can be used to pay for United Airlines tickets only. They can be used as payment for flights within the U.S. and for all international flights operated by United Airlines. Allowed flights are those operated by United and United Express only.
Particular attention should be paid to the Must-Ticket-By dates. They cannot be extended. These dates are April 25, 2010 and May 17, 2010. These dates refer to the booking or ticketing deadline. The travel dates can be up to one year after the booking deadline.
